01 June 2021 – Newly signed Platoon Motswana artist Titose is a fool for her lover in her new single “Put You In Line”. The song released on April 16th, starts with a confident Titose intending to put the love interest “in line” as the title reads, but she grows to realise she is playing a part by going back to him. Driven by a guitar, a DJ scratch and nostalgic production reminiscent of early 2000s R&B, Titose enters with soothing vocals to confront a love interest about ghosting her, and thinking he can get away with it singing “Guys like you always getting their way, you think that love is a silly game.” But although she knows he is bad for her, she continues to fall for his tricks because she is a fool for him.
“Put You in Line” is a reflective song about past relationships. It’s about being and feeling overlooked by someone you really care about. It’s a song for people who feel like they give more than they get. Especially when you feel like, ‘why do I keep falling for the wrong person? Am I the problem? No. Surely it’s you. Lol” – Titose
