
The excitement is bubbling over and we are struggling to keep a cork in our enthusiasm because in less than one month, The Wine Art Food Festival will be back for a day of visual and taste sensations. Join South Africa’s food, wine and art lovers at one of our country’s most beautiful and historic landmarks for a day that promises to amaze and delight the whole family.
For a second year in a row, WAFF will be bringing together SA’s top wine farms, some of the county’s best up and coming artists and a handful of Gauteng’s finest pop-up food stalls but will also be adding a few extra’s into the mix to ensure the event is fresh and constantly evolving.
What To Expect
Free Tastings – There will be free wine tastings from all wine farms for the duration of the day. Walk between the various stands sampling each wine until you find the perfect one, buy it to enjoy on the grass with friends as you revel in the best views of Pretoria or to take it home to savor at a later stage.
Amazing Art – Some of Gauteng’s best young artists will be displaying their masterpieces as well as creating unique new works of art on the day. Marvel at their talent and perhaps purchase a piece that speaks to you.
MCC Masterclass – Hosted by the famous and talented Chef Mogau Seshoene, better known as The Lazy Makoti, join us as we delve into and explore the amazing world of MCC’s. You will be treated to a glass of the three Graham Beck variants each coupled by a spectacular dish prepared by Chef Seshoene herself. This experience is only available to those who purchase a MCC Masterclass ticket.
Art Classes – Join us as we uncover the secrets to creating your next masterpiece. Our featured artists will be giving beginner art classes where attendees can get an understanding and grounding in the basics of painting and art. Delicious Gourmet Food – Indulge in the culinary delights of our amazing pop-up food stands. There is an option for every palate.
Kid’s Area – Bring the kids along and let them join in the fun at our dedicated kid’s area while being looked after by our experienced child minders.
Museum Tours – Take the opportunity to explore the beauty and history of Freedom Park. Stroll through the gardens, chill on the grass, take in the views and absorb the significance of our country’s past and the promise of our future.

POWER 98.7
POWER 98.7 is a commercial talk radio station licensed by ICASA in December 2011, with the last frequency in Gauteng under the existing spectrum planning. The station, owned by MSG Afrika Group, launched on 18 June 2013 and is the only radio station that holds the license to broadcast to the entire province. Through the four frequencies; 98.7, 103.6, 104.4 and 107.2, the station also spills into other in-land provinces.
The station consists of a loyal listener base who are decision makers, conversation starters, affluent and influential upper class across entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Since the launch, POWER 98.7 was named the second most influential media platform in business in the Agenda Setting Media (ASM) analysis which was commissioned by Media Tenor SA. It emerged one of Google’s top 10 trending search lists of 2013 in the Zeitgeist ranking, as searched by South Africans. The station was the most awarded at the 2017 Liberty Radio Awards walking away with six accolades.
With the main studios in Houghton Estate, POWER 98.7 also has two remote studios, based at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and at the Mall of Africa, both launched in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
