Pop singer and songwriter Rowlene gets playful in an ode to the movie “Clueless” in the music video for her upbeat song Danger.
Currently nominated for Best Pop Album at the South African Music Awards for her debut album 11:11, Rowlene is excited to drop the visuals for the popular song Danger.
The music video is set in a 90’s theme where she and her friends engage in an adventure that entails a playful chase where she lets all the boys know what she’s seeking– a little bit of Danger.
“Shooting this video was an absolute blast – made even better by the fact that I got to shoot it with some of my best friends! I can’t wait for everyone to see it” says Rowlene as she explained that the plot for this music video was to engage her audience and allow them to enjoy a day in her life.
The project shows just how relatable the 11:11 album is to all women and this has been Rowlene’s dream – to share music that expresses her feelings and helps others to understand and express their own ; even with an upbeat song , she manages to do just that by showing us that taking a walk on the wild side is sometimes just what a girl needs
Danger premieres on Wednesday, 30 June on Rowlene’s YouTube page. Be sure to also look out for it across TV screens.
