12 September 2018, Sandton, Johannesburg. Premium African and Asian designers will share the stage at the AFI Joburg Fashion Week in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg from the 4th to 7th October 2018.
With the theme #AfroAsia, AFI Joburg Fashion Week 2018 will showcase the best of African fashion with a sprinkle of Asian flavour. Slated to show alongside fashion design stars from across our continent, including Nigeria’s Deola Sagoe and Clan, Haute Baso from Rwanda, Kahindo from the DRC are ranges from renowned South African designers such as Maxhosa by Laduma, Presidential and rising stars such Imprint, Matte Nolim, Tuelo Nguyuza and Orapeleng Modutle who was recently listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 African Creatives. Designers coming from Asia include, 5-Knot from Japan, AntiArch from China and Eric Raisina from Cambodia.
