Johannesburg, 01 June 2018 – On Friday 15 June 2018, AKA is set to release his third studio album, TOUCH MY BLOOD. The album pre-save is exclusively available on current top music digital platform Spotify. It includes smash hits singles “The World Is Yours” and “Caiphus Song“, and will unlock two special instant gratification tracks titled “Beyonce” and “Amen“, with the latter featuring fellow South African rap artist L-Tido.
It’s no doubt that rapper and businessman AKA (real name, Kiernan Forbes) is the royalty of Africa’s hip-hop realm. His consistency and ability to keep raising the bar high is something that he does with ease.
Tweezy, South African well known and award winning producer, produced Amen featuring L-Tido. A house genre sample from Hollis P Monroe’s Goodbye; shows AKA’s versatility and capability to fuse different genres that results in astounding music production and cadence flow.
AKA leaves no stone unturned on Beyoncé as he tells it like it is, his storytelling glides across the beat and yet he is still able to keep his composure, proves that he is a force to be reckoned with. Produced by award winning producer, Gemini Major, Beyoncé is a sexy, outré-beat trap song which encompasses AKA’s take on global music and futuristic sound, comes as a throw forward to just the tip of the iceberg of what his music supporters can expect from his most anticipated album to date.
