July 2016 starts with The Legends of R&B featuring The Manhattans and Regina Belle. Performing 4 dates in Johannesburg at Montecasino, including a new matinee show open due to popular demand on 23rd July, and one show in Cape Town on 24th July at GrandWest. The worlds premier R&B vocal group The Manhattans have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and have recorded twelve top 10 R&B hits in the United States. Celebrated songstress Regina Belle is best known for her singles “Baby Come To Me” and “Make It Like It Was” and is most notable for her Grammy award-winning duet with Peabo Bryson “A Whole New World” for Disney’s 1992 animated feature film Aladdin.
August 2016 sees Ronan Keating bringing his Time Of My Life Tour to Cape Town on 17th August and 3 night in Johannesburg from 19th – 21st at Montecasino. Ronan Keating has achieved 40 million album sales with Boyzone, 22 million sales of his nine studio albums and 14 Solo Number One singles including ‘When You Say Nothing At All’, ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ and ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’. He has performed in 50 countries and has won an Ivor Novello for writing ‘Pictures Of You’.
September 2016 has 3 different tours heading to Montecasino. First is Steve Tyrell and Diane Schuur who are performing on 9th & 10th September. A week later is Irish female sining sensation Celtic Woman on 17th September followed by a show at Carnival City on 18th September. Then at the end of the month is The Manhattan Transfer with the Delft Big Band performing on 24th September.
In November 2016 UB40 make a triumphant return to South Africa performing in Cape Town the 5th November at the Grand Arena, Grandwest, Port Elizabeth on the 8th November at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Durban on the 10th November at the Botanical Gardens and Johannesburg on the 12th November at the Ticket Pro Dome. Britain’s biggest reggae band of all time will be performing classic hits and gems from their many critically acclaimed albums, including ‘Red, Red Wine’, ‘Kingston Town’ and ‘Can’t help falling in Love’.
