
Wednesday 12nd July 2017 – Events agency 6th Ave Group in partnership with the leading streetwear/sportswear retailer Sportscene today announced their official event hosts, media partners and two international fashion brand partners.
Capsule Fest is an urban street culture festival that aims to be the Mecca for all urban culture brands, artists, designers, influencers, consumers and stakeholders. The event is set to offer a credible platform that celebrates all things SA street culture later this year.
Today the organisers formally announced their partnership with television powerhouse station TRACE Urban and youth radio authority YFM. Both media partners come aboard as stakeholders in the festival with their full backing and support.
Furthermore the festival’s hosts were revealed on various social media blasts last week with huge excitement and support from the market. The multi-talented presenter / artist Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena alongside the infamous trio, Microwave Boys will host the CAPSULE FEST on Saturday, 16th September 2017 at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Johannesburg.
The event will be headlined by US Rapper A$AP Ferg and our very own Nasty C.
The Capsule Fest also confirmed leading international fashion brands Adidas and Reebok as official brand partners this week. This inclusion is welcomed alongside the long list of local designers and brands that are expected to be announced. Both adidas and Reebok are planning major showcases and activations that are on par with the best experiences offered at international street culture events.
Tickets for Capsule Fest are currently on sale at selected Sportscene stores.
