Johannesburg, Wednesday, 22 February 2017 – South African On-Air personality, Hip Hop DJ and Host of The StirUp on 5FM, Ms Cosmo’s highly awaited debut single titled #Connect featuring Nasty C, Rouge and Kwesta, continues to make waves in the Hip Hop scene and recently received special recognition on Stogie T’s Verse of the Month feature which is live on Slikour On Life website.
#Connect produced by talented producer Gemini Major is a song about coming together as friends, connecting with new ones and having a good time doing it.

The Stogie T’s Verse of the Month feature in collaboration with Slikour On Life sees the legendary lyricist going through some of his outstanding rhymes of the past month, including some honourable mentions which he feels cannot be ignored.
All three artist featured on Ms Cosmo’s new single #Connect were mentioned with Nasty C receiving an honourable mention for his hook. Nasty C takes on the chorus as well as destroys flows on bars in his usual trademark mien. The hook is about waving the olive branch to his hommies and damming the haters.
The Stogie T Verse of the Month featured eight verses taken from songs released last month, with Kwesta claiming the number seven spot and Rouge taking the impressive number two spot both for their contributions on Ms Cosmo’s debut single #Connect. Ms Cosmo received a special shout out from Stogie T for keeping the Hip Hop culture alive, after she also hosted #LeFemmeRemix for DJ Switch’s Now or Never last year.
#Connect has been making waves on social media and is currently play listed on various radio stations across the country including 5FM, YFM and Ligwalagwala FM.
