Countdown To Project Maboneng Featuring International Rapper Acehood

Johannesburg, South Africa – Project Maboneng is expanding its exciting line up with the announcement of international hip-hop artist Antoine McColister better known as Ace Hood this afteroon.

Promoter, George Avakian made the announcement regarding the inclusion of the hard hitting rapper to the lineup. He will be joining the likes of SA’s superstar artists and DJ’s for the biggest street festival Johannesburg has ever seen ‘We are excited to finally announce who is coming to party with us at the opening of the new wing of the Maboneng district later this month. Ace Hood is young and a super hard working artist. Also he is relevant in the market we are targeting’.

Acclaimed Florida native Ace Hood shot to fame with hits like Hustle Hard, Champion and Bugatti over the past few years. He is currently signed to DJ Khaled’s label ‘We are the Best Money Group’ and ‘Cash Money Records’. With four albums (Gutta 2008, Ruthless 2009, Blood, Sweat and Tears 2011 and Trials and Tribulations 2013) under his belt, Ace Hood is definitely not a fly-by-night entertainer. The 26 year old rapper will perform alongside Cassper Nyovest, Ifani, Riki Rick, Kwesta and many more at the street festival styled concert.

The Project Maboneng is a street themed festival set up that encourages interaction of a diverse crowd of entertainment supporters that is eager to see the infrastructure of the Maboneng precinct and the inner city as a whole grow and develop as one of the forerunners of SA live entertainment sites.

Doors open at 10am offering a 12-hour street festival experience that will cost R325 per person. A convenient ‘Park & Ride service will be available to and from the Joburg stadium and is included in the ticket price. Limited tickets go on sale this week at TicketPro (www.Ticketpro.co.za).
