Donald became the stand-out artist at the 2013 winning several music awards including SAMA Award and having been the most nominated artist, among which were Best Produced Album, Best Video, Best Male and Best Dance Album on the Metro FM Awards.
In May 2017, Donald became the first South African/ African artist to release a visual album.
The first single “Raindrops” featuring Tiwa Savage dominated the airwaves nationally in 2017. He then released another smashing Afro Soul hit “Landela” taken from his Something More album.
