Gospel genius Dr Tumi releases Beauty for Ashes Album Today.
The twelve-track live album was recorded at a historic concert at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria on 1 September 2018. Digital Album includes an extended version of ‘Overflow”.
Dr Tumi teased music followers with the single ‘Wafika’ for a taste of what’s in store and the magic of that night is encapsulated in the other songs that include ‘Seated on the Throne’, ‘There’s None’, ‘The Blood Song’ and ‘I’m Loved by God’.
It doesn’t stray away from his winning formula of praise and worship and the strong 40 000 or so voices that filled the auditorium at the Monument add to the ambiance and electric atmosphere of the night as they sing along with Dr Tumi.
“I’m delighted that the Voortrekker Monument experience is finally here to be enjoyed by all. I stand in awe of God’s grace as I look back to how beautiful it was. I have no doubt it will connect with everyone who listens to the messages in the songs. It truly is a special recording,” says Dr Tumi.
