- Formula 1® will welcome 22 fully drivable LEGO Group minicars to the F1 Drivers’ Parade at the British Grand Prix.
- This follows the success of the LEGO big-builds that took to the track for the F1 Drivers’ Parade at the Miami Grand Prix in 2025.
- 6,400 hours combined hours, including 28,000 bricks for each car, were spent on the development and construction of the LEGO F1 minicars.
Fans at the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 and tuning in worldwide are set for one of the most unique and entertaining moments of the weekend, as Formula 1 and the LEGO Group transform the famous Drivers’ Parade into a full-scale spectacle.
Taking place within one and a half hours before the race on Sunday, the Drivers’ Parade is traditionally where fans get to see all 22 drivers together on track. This year, Silverstone will see the procession transformed into a truly iconic head-turning moment of fun and excitement as all drivers will be driving their own LEGO minicars, made from 28,000 real LEGO bricks.
Designed in each team’s 2026 colours, and including the individual driver numbers, fans can spot their heroes around the circuit in the minicars. Bringing a playful, high-energy twist to one of the most anticipated moments ahead of the Grand Prix, it is another example of how Formula 1 continues to focus on creative and impactful fan-centered moments across a race weekend.
The activation builds on the huge success of last year’s Miami Grand Prix Drivers’ Parade, where a fleet of LEGO big-build cars made their debut and quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the season.
Behind the scenes, the minicars are as impressive and complex as they are fun. Built by a team of 20 designers, engineers and LEGO specialists, the project took more than 6,400 hours to bring to life at the LEGO Group’s Kladno factory in the Czech Republic.

- Each of the LEGO F1 minicars has more than 28,000 LEGO bricks, along with a selection of other components to make them capable of driving.
Over 6,400 combined hours were spent on the development and construction of the LEGO F1 minicars. - They were created by 20 specialists in design, engineering and building from the LEGO Group and are capable of reaching up to 25km/h.
- Each of the LEGO F1 minicars weighs approximately 280kg, with 65kg of that being LEGO bricks
- Each minicar is fitted with standard go-kart wheels
