BOSS Fashion Event in Johannesburg
Johannesburg, April 10, 2015. The new Spring/Summer 2015 collections have been celebrated at the BOSS and HUGO venues in Sandton City on the evening of April 9, 2015.
Some 250 guests including national VIPs, media representatives, customers and business partners had the chance to discover the world of HUGO BOSS and the new collections in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. After the cocktail receptions at the stores, the celebration continued at the Circa Art Gallery where the invitees enjoyed an elegant standing dinner and a choice of cocktails, all to the beats of DJ Euphonik.
The collections of BOSS Menswear epitomize authentic, understated luxury. BOSS builds its latest collection around an aspirational archetype that mingles with the industry’s downtown cool. From half-lined coats to tumbled slim-fit jackets: the clothes find a balance between tailored and casual.
BOSS Womenswear stands for feminine styles with a focus on excellent workmanship, fine fabrics and distinctive details. In his second collection for BOSS, Artistic Director Jason Wu continues to define and delineate the codes and aesthetic identity of the BOSS woman. Strong, focused, exacting, yet always feminine, she is the epitome of timeless elegance. The men’s suiting and shirting that form the backbone of BOSS is the unexpected starting point for a womenswear collection that explores lightness and fluidity.
The HUGO BOSS Group is one of the leading companies in the premium and luxury segment of the apparel market. The company, which is based in Metzingen, Germany, develops and markets high-end women’s and men’s fashion, shoes and accessories. HUGO BOSS products are sold in 130 countries around the world at more than 7,600 points of sale. In South Africa BOSS and HUGO Stores are located in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
In 2014 HUGO BOSS and Mercedes-Benz joined forces in an international cooperation and are thus working closely together when it comes to events and sponsorship activities. For the event in Sandton City Mercedes-Benz provided a limousine service.
