Johannesburg, South Africa – September 25, 2026; South African vocalist, songwriter and pianist Kayla Praise officially begins a new chapter with the release of “Inhliziyo,” her first official single as a solo artist.
Having gained attention through her vocal covers and a growing list of collaborations, Kayla now takes centre stage with a 3 Step love anthem produced by DJ Veek and featuring Criimora b.k.z, Child Da Dj and Kinglee Beats.
Built around the feeling of falling in love at first sight, Inhliziyo captures the excitement of meeting someone and immediately seeing the possibility of a future together. Kayla’s soulful vocals sit naturally against the contemporary production, giving the track a warm, romantic quality while staying rooted in the evolving 3 Step sound.

ABOUT KAYLA PRAISE
Kayla’s musical journey began at eight years old, inspired by her father’s piano playing at church. Her love for singing developed through family sing-alongs by candlelight during load shedding, eventually leading her to become a choir conductor during high school before transitioning into performance.
She made her recording debut in 2022 at just 15 years old with “Nomathemba,” followed by “Forever” in 2023.
