Award-winning rappers set to show how to #LIVESWITHHEART at “The People’s Choice” show
The people have spoken. SA’s award-winning hip-hop artist and Red Heart crew member Kwesta, together with the queen of gqom, Babes Wodumo are set to make a bold statement on Friday April 14th, when they bring their special “The People’s Choice” show to fans in Pimville Square, Soweto.
Following Kwesta’s mega hit Ngud, which won the hearts of thousands of South Africans last year, Kwesta made a daring move when he went on to release four singles at the same time and later surprised fans with an impromptu party where he dropped four new videos.
The singles, which features artists such as Kid X, TLT and Makwa 6eats, will be performed at “The People’s Choice” show as well as tracks by other names including, Heavy K, Sliqe, Vigilante, Just Mo and Trallavele.
“In this industry one has to be bold and brave to make it to the top. Most of all, one has to be authentic, so why not be spontaneous and do things a little bit different? That is exactly what I want to achieve with “The People’s Choice” show. I want to surprise my fans and create a moment they will never forget,” says Kwesta.
