Having spent just over 2 weeks with the LG X Screen, I can’t really say I’ve grown fond of it. At first glance, it looks like a Samsung from the front and from the back, it looks like an iPhone. It did feel very entry level and it felt like something a student in grade 8 would use – just a simple phone with all the stuff it needs to stay relevant in our times.
The front camera does take really good selfies, which is good because it’s the trend currently but the small display makes it seem like these are a “child’s selfies”. The back camera seemed rather basic, considering picture taking is the biggest thing now. The display wasn’t as good as I would’ve liked it to be. The processing power was good though.
On an overall, if you’re a student or senior citizen and need a phone to do the bare minimum, this is a great phone, – especially because of the always-on display and the price it’s going at. If you need a second phone or an emergency phone, this would also be a great phone. Not to say it’s a bad phone or anything but it honestly felt like a loan phone to me, a temporary device for the time being.
