Johannesburg, Friday, 13 June 2025 – Tomorrow, all roads lead to the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden for the grand finale of the Sunset Music Series, a concert that promises to etch itself into the heart of Johannesburg’s cultural memory.
What began as a bold vision to bring Cape Town’s iconic Kirstenbosch sunset concert experience to Gauteng has blossomed into something truly extraordinary. With the majestic Witpoortjie Waterfall as its stage backdrop and golden light spilling over the cliffside, the sun sets on this debut season of the Sunset Music Series.
Tomorrow’s concert marks the closing instalment of this inaugural run, and what a crescendo it promises to be. Soul-stirring singer-songwriter Lloyiso, genre-defying songstress Filah Lah Lah, and rising star Mary Jane will lead audiences through an unforgettable journey of sound and soul.
Bring your picnic baskets and blankets. Bring your families. Bring your friends. While no alcohol may be brought in, fully stocked bars and a variety of delicious food vendors will be available on-site. Your own food is welcome.

- Small umbrellas are allowed but must be positioned at the back of the venue.
- Gazebos are not allowed.
