Thursday, 20 August 2026, South Africa – SAMA Nominee, Lucille Slade, The Kimberley Diamond, celebrates her hometown with “Die Y” music video, a love letter to Kimberley, its culture and the people who continue to make the city shine.
The song blends Lucille’s signature sound with Kwati, including the intro from Sip ’n Kwati, giving listeners an authentic connection to her hometown while remaining universal enough to invite anyone into the story of Kimberley.
The music video showcases Kimberley Diamonds across different industries, including Thebe Magugu, Unathi Batyashe of SABC News, and Boipelo Mooketsi of 5FM, a Basadi in Music Award winner for Best Radio Presenter.
