As Corona celebrates 100 years under the sun, the festival also welcomes Zakes Bantwini, DJ Kent, Oscar Mbo, Crazy White Boy, Mörda, Culoe De Song, Ndlovu Youth Choir, and more for a golden-hour experience like never before.

Johannesburg, July 24th, 2025 – After announcing their long-awaited return to Johannesburg on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at Casalinga, Muldersdrift, the Corona Sunsets Festival has now released its star-studded line-up. Headlining the much-anticipated event are South African powerhouses, Major League DJz and DBN Gogo, alongside multi-genre trailblazers, 340 ML, and international Afro-House sensation, AMÉMÉ, who has worked with the likes of DJ Jamie Jones and Black Coffee.

Alongside these heavy hitters, the festival will showcase performances by more than twenty artists across two stages, including South African favourites such as: house producer Zakes Bantwini, dancefloor mainstays DJ Kent, Culoe De Song and Oscar Mbo, the enchanting Ndlovu Youth Choir, and the internationally resonant FKA Mash, whose recent remixes on labels, Anjunadeep & Keinemusik, and performances in Ibiza reflect his growing global presence.

Returning to home soil after a celebrated performance at Glastonbury 2025, Jeremy Loops brings his globally acclaimed sound to Corona Sunsets Festival Johannesburg.

Also on the line up are Crazy White Boy, the pioneering electronic duo originally hailing from Cape Town but long embedded in the Johannesburg music scene. For this special performance, they’ll be joined by Nonku Phiri, the Johannesburg-born vocalist whose unmistakable voice and soulful presence make her one of the city’s most celebrated talents.

This year’s festival follows the announcement of the Corona Beach 100 list which spotlighted the world’s most breathtaking coastlines as part of Corona’s centennial. South Africa proudly claimed four spots on the list, including Kraalbaai in Langebaan, which received a top-tier three-sun rating for its pristine beauty and calm lagoon. Other beaches featured include Boulders Beach (Simonstown), Nature’s Valley (Plettenberg Bay), and Camps Bay (Cape Town).

But this is not just a music festival. Rooted in Corona’s global ‘More Than Music’ ethos, the festival combines immersive art installations by local creatives, eco-conscious food made from locally sourced ingredients, and interactive experiences – all anchored around the signature sunset ritual. It’s a curated moment to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with nature.

“Each year, the Corona Sunsets Festival invites us to pause, feel, and reconnect. For this very special edition – marking the celebration of 100 years of Corona under the sun – we are thrilled to bring to Johannesburg a festival that reflects the dynamic creative spirit of the city.” says Melanie Nicholson, Head of Brand: Corona South Africa.
