Didn’t imagine I’d find myself at Major League Gardens again but I did and this time, it was bigger than last time.
1 of the first things I noticed was they used a different venue. Not that much of move from Nasrec to the outer fields of FNB Stadium but nonetheless, it creates room for new creativity in terms of planning.
There was nothing new in terms of the VIP and VVIP being placed besides the stages but here was something I found rather interesting, artists were made to enter through the VIP side to get backstage, not through a special entrance for them or through VVIP, which may have been a mistake on the artist side but it did mean a lot of fans could stop them and get pictures with them, which meant a win on the fans side.

Something that stuck out in my head, were the interactive activities that were promised, which I think I missed and some of the giveaways that were promised, think I missed that also. No problem though, even though Major League Gardens reads as a picnic in press releases, the biggest reason that people attend is for the performances and I have to admit, they always, I means always have a strong line-up and at the cost of a ticket, it’s actually worth it to attend. Only problem comes in, is with the limited times per performers.
Major League Gardens draws in a huge crowd, honestly, they don’t small numbers in terms of attendance. This 1 was no different, there was a massive crowd that enjoyed every performance and they were treated to surprise acts, I think that was deserved considering how cold it got after 7pm. Whether you were in the General Admin side, VIP or VVIP, you were sure to enjoy it. Even people outside were having a good time. Major League Gardens is bigger than imagined, honestly. You get there and it’s just 1 big party, it’s a guaranteed good time.
