Metro FM reveals Rustenburg Heat Wave Line Up

Johannesburg-Wednesday, 23 November 2016 – The highly anticipated Metro FM Rustenburg Heatwave set to take place on Saturday, 26th November 2016 in the North West Province at the Olympia Park Stadium has revealed its Rustenburg drape with a star studded performance line up. Touted as one of the Province’s biggest live events, the Metro FM Heatwave is a picnic set up for summer featuring signature DJ’s from the METRO FM and talent from the Platinum Province.

This year’s Heatwave brought to you by South Africa’s best urban radio station METRO FM, is back with an extraordinary line of the biggest names in the entertainment roster. Featuring an array of young artists like the hit the maker of Hell No, Nasty C as well as King Monada of the new single “Ska Bhora Moreki”. Loyal Metro FM house listeners will not be left behind, taking on the decks are legendary house DJ’s, the revered DJ Christos, Vinni Da Vinci and Oskido. This trio has created an unparalleled reputation for keeping the dance floors packed to capacity.

“We are thrilled to be going back to the Platinum Province and getting in touch with our listeners. We have been inundated with requests from our listeners with regards to the Metro FM heatwave. As part of our 30 year celebration we will be featuring our flagship DJ’s and will also be embracing the hottest new talent from Mzansi,” said Metro FM Station Manager, Sibongile Mtyali.

Adding star power to the heatwave stage as MC’s, will be the colourful Somizi Mhlongo, who is known for his vibrant presenting skills on “whose show is it, anyway?” a mid-morning show on Metro FM. He is joined on stage by his colleague Khanyi Mbau host of Whose Show Is It Anyway.

Artists confirmed to perform at the Metro FM Heatwave include: Sphe & Naves, Professor, Dj Christos, King Monada, Dj Nyathi, Naked Dj, Lulo Café, MoFlava, Amon Mokoena, Oskido, Nasty C, and Vinni Da Vinci.

This year’s Metro FM Heatwave will be hosted at Olympia Park Stadium and Tickets are available at (www.computicket.co.za) Computicket retail outlets. General access is R150 and VIP is R500 (incl. VAT)
