In its fourth year running, the Sprite Uncontainable Talent Search has given birth to scores of SA’s youngest and freshest performers. The annual event has become an entrenched feature in South Africa’s Hip-Hop culture as it unearths unknown talent. The finale is a showcase for finalists that were selected as the best of the best; from a countrywide search that included thousands of entrants that spanned over numerous varsity campuses and Hip-Hop spots.
The final event at the end of August will see the 14 finalists take to the stage and battle it out for the Sprite Uncontainable winner title in their category, with the winners getting a once in a lifetime Sprite mentorship with the judge in their respective field as well as total bragging rights.
In the dance category, the finalists are Sibusiso Zwane, Sinenhlanhla Mbatha, Lesedi Mabena, Darim Da Paixao, Raphael Tambwe and Samuel Conradie. Repping the graffiti category are Mduduzi Tshabala, Sonzo Nhlapo, Justin Catto and Kevin Schiffer. The emcees are Mesuli Ntuli, Katleho Sekonyana, Lungelo Ntuli and Pakiso Maserumula.
The talent search judges are graffiti guru, Mars, emcee expert, Reason, and legendary dancer, Simba. They have been hard at work giving aspiring performers the opportunity to showcase their talent and express their very own refreshing truth.
The epic Sprite Uncontainable final event will be held on the 29th of August, 2015 at Zone 6 Venue in Diepkloof, Soweto. Gauteng.
