A 10-Year Celebration of House Music Royalty Remixed for a New Generation

Get ready to move! As their iconic house anthem “Deep In The Bottom (Of Africa)” turns 10, Monique Bingham and Black Coffee are turning up the heat with an electrifying Remix EP that’s set to light up dancefloors worldwide.

“It’s wild to think it’s already been a decade,” Monique reflects, “and even wilder to see how this track has touched the world. To celebrate, I called on some of the most innovative DJ/producers from South Africa to put their own magic on our classic.”

The remix journey kicks off with a fresh, melodic spin from rising star Jazzworx, whose 3Step groove has already racked up chart-topping hits. But this is just the beginning. Monique’s commitment to lifting up Black women in music shines as she brings in two powerhouse female DJs shaking up the scene:

  • DBN Gogo the undeniable queen of Amapiano delivers a “private school” Amapiano remix, adding an exclusive, sophisticated vibe that’s pure fire.
  • Thandi Draai, a major force in Afro House, injects her remix with high-voltage Afro Tech energy, making it a weapon for any peak-time DJ set.

The lineup is stacked with more talent:

  • Sir LSG crafts a soulful deep house journey that’s as classy as it is danceable an absolute treat for true house heads.
  • Citizen Deep keeps things spicy on the Afro House tip, blending signature rhythms with that irresistible 3Step flavor he’s famous for.
  • 2wo Bunnies close things out with a streetwise “strata” Amapiano remix gritty, energetic, and made for the real dancefloor lovers.

From 3Step to Amapiano, Afro Tech to Deep House, “The Remixes Pt 1” is a superstar showcase of South African brilliance, breathing fresh life into a certified classic. “Working with this incredible talent has been a joy,” Monique says. “It’s not just about honoring what Coffee and I created but bringing that same fire to today’s dancefloors and introducing a whole new generation to our music.”

Monique Bingham & Black Coffee “Deep In The Bottom (Of Africa)” Remixes Pt 1. Drops everywhere November 14, 2025. Stream it, dance to it, and celebrate the legacy!
