My only experience with house parties lately is Ms Cosmo’s Fun House, which I always look forward to because it’s really interesting to see her selection of people to perform and play there. She is 1 of the most respected DJs in the Hip Hop community, so she has a close connection with quite a number of people.
To be honest, I preferred her venue selection this time around, over the last location as this venue was more welcoming, that may be because it was a guesthouse. The venue was also well hidden. Soon as you entered, it immediately felt different from the outside. There was just enough parking for all of us and we were welcomed with a smile.
Having a small crowd attend worked out really well because toilets weren’t chaotic, the bar was quick and the best part was that they had more alcohol to give away to us, so we enjoyed a lot of free Heineken. Another nice factor was that people were able to watch the football matches at the event and soon after the matches finished, they just stepped out to enjoy the music with the rest of us.
Ms Cosmo also made sure to swing past all of us and check if we are okay, that was really cool. Even though it’s her duties as the host, it’s something people rarely experience nowadays but Ms Cosmo always does that.
Everyone on the line-up did a splendid job even when it started raining and the crowds had to go find shelter, people still kept dancing and singing along. When the sky cleared, everyone moved back to the main area and even though it was cold, people were having such a good time that some jumped in the swimming pool.

Ms Cosmo’s Fun House is really slept on by the masses but I still feel the crowds she has currently are better, they make it more fun to be there.
