Msaki & Jesse Clegg Announce Joint EP Entropy With Lead Single Wayside Lover Featuring Sjava
Johannesburg, Friday, 19 September 2025 – Acclaimed South African artists Msaki and Jesse Clegg have joined forces for a groundbreaking collaborative EP titled Entropy, led by the poignant first single Wayside Lover. The track arrives with a powerful surprise feature from Sjava, who lends his voice and perspective to enrich the narrative with characteristic depth and emotion.
About the Entropy EP:
Entropy is a deeply personal collaboration born from an unlikely but profound creative bond. Written across Cape Town, Los Angeles, Johannesburg, and New York, the project captures themes of loss, transformation, and new beginnings.
“To me, Entropy feels like a snapshot of our lives over the past three years of getting to know each other,” shares Jesse Clegg. “It’s about facing tragedy and loss, but also about finding connection in unexpected places. The album’s lead single, ‘Wayside Lover,’ embodies that emotional tension and the challenge of finding common ground as life pulls in different directions.”
Produced by Greg Abrahams and Nicholas Petricca, with Grammy Award-winning Damian Taylor on mixing and mastering, Wayside Lover is both sonically rich and emotionally layered, weaving African storytelling with global production values.
