Rage Festival – South Africa’s biggest youth music and lifestyle festival – kicks off the excitement with a killer international and local lineup in its Phase 1 announcement. Durban, Ballito and Umhlanga will heave this November and December as thousands of SA youth enjoying their newly found and well-deserved freedom head down to the coast.
In Phase 1, the international lineup welcomes South London’s multi-talented TroyBoi who specialises in extraordinarily unique, versatile, and highly musical tracks that fuses various textures from multiple genres. Brazil’s Vintage Culture creates a unique brand of dance music merging retro synth pop influences with modern deep house and nu disco. Melbourne’s bounce maestro Brynny and psy trance DJ Ghost Rider, who process his emotions and ideas, to form a dynamic and catchy sound, sure to conquer the dance floors. All the acts will perform at the festival’s mega-venue, The Sound Factory.
The epic Phase 1 local lineup includes the likes of Niskerone, Kyle Watson, Trancemicsoul, Vimo, Capital, Chrizz Beatz, Jay Roberts, Mogey, Rikay, Erebus, Kollective Kulture, Vin Groovin, Syzo, Ryan Stylz and Ray Squared, with many more to come in the next artist release phases.
And we’re just getting started. Just all Ragers catch their breath, we will announce Phase 2 with more international muso’s to be added in the coming weeks.
Festival-goers and party-seekers can look forward to major international and local artists across five stages, with world-class production and the greatest two weeks of their lives, all packed into one passport!

Passports are not for sale to persons under the age of 18. Attendees need to be 18 at the start of Rage on 26 November 2016 to be granted access to the festival and venues.
