Cape Town’s hottest, live Hip Hop night show, SHWNPRV (SHOW ‘N PROVE), returns Friday, 30th June for its third episode featuring a bill of the city’s best up and coming vocalists under one roof in a bid to showcase their raw talent. Pioneered by Cape Town born rapper, Calley – SHWNPRV, aims to ignite the genre’s followers through a live experience and set the standard for Hip Hop music in the Mother City.
‘’Not enough amplification is being put behind rappers in Cape Town, that’s why this night show is important for the industry’, says Calley.
Off the back of a packed second installment in February, the Cape Town Hip Hop heads are sure to come out in their hundreds for a night of sick beats, undiscovered talent and original lyrical magic, all on one stage. SHWNPRV3 will have a line-up of the freshest artists and DJ’s in town at one of Cape Town’s top venues all to be announced soon, are you game?
