November 6th Johannesburg – Today the Tugela Fairy graces us with her new album titled “Tugela Fairy – Made of Stars” which has been described as her best work yet. The album includes a star studded cast and is a statement for Simmy 2.0

The Apple Music Africa Now cover artist launched the pre-order to her album earlier this month with her single “Emakhaya” featuring Da Capo and Sun El Musician. The single took radio stations by storm on its release this past October 16th seeing the single jump into the top 100 airplay charts in its first week at #76 and debuting on various major urban radio station charts.
The album is named ‘Tugela Fairy- Made of Stars’ because of the all-star cast who feature on the project. The album describes her musical journey and tells her story of strength and woman empowerment. With this album Simmy aims to give fans a new perspective on who she is and the growth she’s had over the past few years.
When asked about the single and upcoming album she said ”I’m really excited about dropping my album this Friday, especially because my fans have been waiting patiently for it for a very long time and I couldn’t wait to share it with them. What my fans can expect from my upcoming album is a continuation from the first Tugela Fairy album, more growth & versatility with regards to the music itself and my approach on each story that I tell. I also got an opportunity to have external features compared to my first album so it’s exciting to share some of the work I did with those producers and artists as well.”
