HomegrownZA // Soweto Day

Soweto Day Review

Posted on November 7, 2015November 7, 2015 by Yule Dark

Food stalls, clothing stalls and live music. It’s not a new concept but it’s something I think should continue and grow across the country. It allows families to spend time outside together; try new food; hear new music; buy new clothes and generally, just have a good time together.

Maybe that’s what drew me to Soweto Day’s at Walter Sisulu Square and then also going to see it at Soweto Theatre.

It’s a very good way to spend your Sunday. Personally, I wish this event continues, at least once a month. The exposure it offers, not only as someone attending but also as a small business, it’s very intermit and relaxed.
