KLûK CGDT spring/summer exhibition charmed by Tanqueray
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town 2015 saw a number of innovative collections shown at this year’s event, with one of the most remarkable being the KLûK CGDT and Levi’s collaboration which featured 31 Asian-inspired looks at CAAM Gallery in De Waterkant on Saturday (1 August).
Among the 400 stylish guests in attendance, were Arie Fabian, Bonnie Mbuli, Jena Dover, Marc Lottering, Siv Ngesi, Katryn Kruger, The Motsepe’s and Jerri Mokgofe, who had the opportunity to admire the unique new interpretation of denim as a luxury fashion item by the design duo.
Not surprisingly, the iconic Tanqueray gin – which was a prominent feature at the exhibition – played a major role in setting the tone and fashion-forward standard for the evening, with refreshing Gimlet and Negroni cocktails available throughout.
“Tanqueray embodies the sophistication and extraordinary nature of both the art and fashion worlds. It is Tanqueray’s reputation for style which has made it the foremost choice of spirits for occasions such as the KlûK CGDT Exhibition” says Avukile Mabombo, brandhouse Reserve Brands Marketing Manager.
“The luxury drinking and fashion worlds have always intersected and collaborated, and the union of KLûK CGDT and Tanqueray is particularly suitable as both brands have been recognized for their ability to continually reinvent and reinterpret trends in their respective industries.” says Avukile
Every bottle of Tanqueray boasts the signature of founder Charles Tanqueray, an eternal stamp of quality from a man whose ambition, innovation and expertise knew no bounds. In a similar way, KLûK CGDT and Levi’s have collaborated to create something innovative without sacrificing quality.
