The wait is over! Internationally acclaimed New Zealand soul artist TEEKS has arrived in South Africa and will officially kick off his highly anticipated Live in South Africa tour tonight, Thursday, 27 August, at Grand West Arena in Cape Town.
Ahead of the tour, Sony Music hosted an intimate dinner to officially welcome TEEKS to South Africa, bringing the artist together with a select group of fans for an evening celebrating his arrival and connection with his South African audience. The dinner was hosted by broadcaster and presenter Zanele Potelwa at Artistry in Sandton, creating an intimate setting for fans to meet TEEKS ahead of his highly anticipated live performances.
The special welcome set the tone for what promises to be an exciting week for TEEKS and his South African fans, as the artist prepares to take his soulful sound to audiences in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.
From Cape Town, TEEKS will head to Durban tomorrow, Friday, 28 August, for a special performance at The Station, before bringing the tour to Johannesburg on Sunday, 30 August, where he will take to the stage at Parklive Jozi at Marks Park in Emmarentia.
Renowned for his velvet-like vocals, deeply personal songwriting and emotionally charged performances, TEEKS has built an international following with songs including Remember Me, Without You, First Time and Something To Feel.
Adding to the excitement around the Durban leg of the tour, acclaimed South African singer-songwriter Kyle Deutsch will join TEEKS as the special opening artist at The Station tomorrow night.
Known for his soulful sound and dynamic live performances, Kyle Deutsch will set the tone for what promises to be a memorable evening before TEEKS takes the stage.
