It’s the Easter holiday period and there is no better way to spend it, than at Durban Picnic Day!
Durban Picnic Day
is undoubtedly one of the many exciting events that Durbanites and Holiday goers could look forward to, during the Easter holidays!
This showstopper event celebrates the cultural diversity and cosmopolitan mix within the city of Durban and offers a fun, musical and cultural experience for the whole family!

Durban Picnic Day celebrates local talent with performances from award winning local artists such as Professor, Lvovo, Okmalumkoolkat, Dj Cndo and more! This event creates a perfect mix between local well-known artists and up coming homegrown local talents and bands, such as Easy Freak and Dead trends.

Durban Picnic Day offers a perfect mix of music genres from hip-hop, rock, dance, house and Durban kwaito. Crowds could look forward to an excellerating line up of artists such as Cassper Nyovest, “The king of Kotini “Riky Rick, Kwesta, Kid X and Crazy white Boy, just to name a few.

The objective of the event this year, is to create an unforgettable experience for the whole family, with some new additions such as a kiddies area, which will be available on site at an additional fee, along with a few other surprises! Crowds could look forward to seeing some of the well-known East Radio jocks, which will be hosts at the event.

Durban Picnic Day is guaranteed to bigger and better!

This event is proudly brought to you by Durban Tourism, KZN Department of Arts and Culture and East Coast Radio.

Date: Sunday 16 April 2017
Venue: Moses Mabhida People’s Park
Gates Open at 12:00 till late
Tickets: Available at Computicket. R200 General and R500 VIP.
Cooler boxes Charged at R100, but no cooler boxes after 6pm
No cooler boxes allowed in the VIP
Cash bar and food stall facilities will be available on site.
No Glass bottles allowed.
Children under the age of 12 enter free
Kiddies’ area available on site at an additional fee.
