Johannesburg: 07 August 2024 – Lwah is set to release her deluxe album on the 9th August women’s day. Her deluxe will consist of an additional 6 records from her currently Platinum selling album “Imizwa.”
The significance behind the release of the album on Women’s day is to embrace, acknowledge and give thanks to all hardworking and strong women out there “imbokodo”. Lwah comes from a very tough background and upbringing being raised by her grandparents in the rural streets of Hluhluwe, where life was incredibly difficult, however through all the trials and tribulations she conquered on to become a multi-award-winning artist who has recently won Artist of the year at the Metro FM awards.
Lwah shares her excitement, “Ngithanda ukubonga bonke abaxasi bam who support me in my musical journey. This body of work is to showcase how grateful I am to everyone that loves and supports my craft. Last but not least my Inkabi nation family and team thank you for not giving up on me ngithi asiqubekeni sisebenze.” Therefore, this deluxe is a gift to all her supporters, particularly all women that go through life with challenges.
