The award ceremony recognizes African superstars Alikiba (Tanzania), Black Coffee (South Africa), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Olamide (Nigeria) and Wizkid (Nigeria) who are nominated in the Best African Act category.
Also in the star-studded performance line-up are: Shawn Mendea, DNCE, Lukas Graham, Zara Larsson and many more.
The global award extravaganza sees Beyoncé and Justin Bieber leading the nominations board. Other nominees include Adele, Rihanna, Lukas Graham and Mike Posner, Kanye West, Cold Play, Sia amongst others.
