PepsiCo and Nu Metro to live stream UCL finals, in Canal Walk
Cape Town — Monday, 05 June 2023 — PepsiCo is proud to announce the live screening of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) finals, on Saturday, 10 June 2023 at the Nu Metro cinema in Canal Walk. The event will showcase the best of football as English giants Man City try to etch their name into history, while Inter Milan will seek to claim the title of “Kings of Europe” again 13 years later.
The event marks the start of a fresh partnership, between Nu Metro and PepsiCo, which will see the cinema serve PepsiCo’s iconic products including Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda, and Mountain Dew as drinks of choice.
Will Pep Guardiola finally give Manchester City their first Champions League trophy or will the “Nerazzurri” led by Simeone Inzaghi turn the “Citizens” dreams into a nightmare? Will the Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne team-up finally be enough or will the dynamic duo of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku be too much for them?
Doors open at 19:30 and consumers will be treated to a free Pepsi and Popcorn and will be entertained by ball jugglers, a football skill show, and a 360-degree camera. The final kicks off at 21:00 and there will be an in-cinema lucky draw at half-time.
