Johannesburg- 10th December 2021- Today Pretoria based Hip Hop DJ, Venom and BashVision aka ShiShiliza, better known as Bash drop, a new single titled ‘ShoBoy’ is available on all digital platforms. Listen Here.
The Single is the first offering from the upcoming collaborative project from Venom and Shishiliza, produced by 021’s producer Junior Taurus and featuring SA Hip Hop and Amapiano heavyweights Riky Rick, Junior Taurus, Buzzi Lee, Yanga Chief, Beast RSA, Focalistic, Blxckie & 25K.
Speaking about Sho Boy, Shishiliza said; “Sho Boy is the first single released by myself and Venom.” “The track is a fusion of strong Amapiano beats that brings together elements of Hip Hop through the features and sound.” Venom is no stranger to the entertainment industry as he has worked with artists such a Rouge, Focalistic, Anatii and International pop star, Omarion. It was only a matter of time that he teams up with industry all-rounder BashVision aka ShiShiliza, known for being an A&R, Songwriter, Artist Manager & Producer.
“About a year and a half ago I had worked with Venom on one of his previous singles,” Says; Shishiliza. He continues to add; “I had been executive producing and writing for several people and Venom had been releasing a few singles.” “We decided to come together just to do one song, we ended up collaborating on multiple tracks that ultimately lead us to work on a collaborative project” On the question of them being a duo, Shishiliza Explains that they are not a duo but have come together collaborative effort to make music. He continues to say; “It might not be the only project we release together.”
‘Sho Boy’ features dream collaboration with SA’s Hip Hop finest Street Culture god Riky Rick, Buzzi Lee, Yanga Chief, Beast RSA, 25K The Plug & Somnyama Omyama aka Blxckie. Amapiano’s hitmakers, Focalistic and 012 producer Junior Taurus also make an appearance.
Speaking about how the collaborations Shililiza says: “All we had was a beat from Junior Taurus and an idea of the people we wanted to jump on the track.” “Riky Rick had a song that he had been working on for years called ‘Sho Boy’, .” We added beats , vocals, more features and edits the track and it sounded good.

BashVision aka ShiShiliza is an all rounder known for being an A&R, Songwriter, Artist Manager & Producer. Born in Zimbabwe, raised in Botswana & moved to Johannesburg at the age of 14. Bash entered the industry as an A&R, DJ & Photographer for Cassper Nyovest’s Family Tree Label. In 2017 Bash signed Nadia Nakai to Family tree & added another title to his name as manager where he worked on the musical development and branding of the artist. Since then Bash has managed the likes of Reason & Boity. Most recently Bash has returned to his first love of making music & stepping to the front stage under the name ShiShiliza. Alongside DJ Venom, ShiShiliza is curating a compilation of songs that they believe will grow & benefit the SA HipHop Scene.

Venom is a Pretoria based Hip Hop DJ, Venom has worked with artists such a Rouge, Chad Da Don, Focalistic, Anatii and International pop artist, Omarion. He has become a favourite in the Night Club Industry in South Africa gaining him a Summer Time Residency in Cape Town every December to mid-January which started in 2017.
