Johannesburg: 29 June 2026 – The exclusive launch event for Vusi Nova’s highly anticipated EP, Here to Stay, originally scheduled for Wednesday, 1 July 2026 at Lanseria Hangar, Lanseria Airport, has been postponed to Friday, 24 July 2026.
Vusi Nova and Lanseria Airport jointly made the decision following the current unrest surrounding foreign nationals and growing safety concerns in the Lanseria area. While uncertainty remains regarding developments over the coming days, the well-being of guests, media, partners and staff is the highest priority.
Importantly, the postponement of the launch event does not affect the music’s release. Here to Stay will still be available on all digital streaming platforms on 1 July 2026, as originally planned.
“Family, due to the current unrest around foreign nationals and the safety concerns affecting the Lanseria area, Lanseria Airport and I have agreed to move the Here to Stay EP launch event. We don’t know what might happen tomorrow, so as a safety precaution, we’ll now celebrate together on 24 July. The good news is that the music isn’t going anywhere – Here to Stay still drops on 1 July, and I can’t wait for you to hear it. To thank you for your patience and understanding, Lanseria Airport and I will make the celebration even more special by offering additional flights as part of the experience on the new event date.
