That is exactly why the return of Liquid Deep to the stage at Mayonie Open Air on 30 November 2025 at Constitution Hill is not just an announcement—it is history in motion.
For more than a decade, LiquiDeep gave us anthems that became the soundtrack to our lives—BBM, Fairytale, Alone, Rise Again, Settle for Less. Songs that defined a generation, that carried the heartbeat of Afro House and soul across dance floors and radio waves, and that reminded us how music can unite us in love and rhythm.
Their comeback now, at this precise moment, is about more than nostalgia. It is about honouring a legacy, reintroducing a sound that shaped us, and showing how timeless music continues to inspire future generations.
At Mayonie Open Air, where we gather to celebrate the evolution of Afro House, this is a full-circle moment—not just for Liquideep, but for all of us as peers who have performed alongside them many years ago and contributed to this journey.
To stand alongside LiquiDeep on stage is an honour and a full circle moment since our Channel O music awards performance in 2012.
They have always been more than artists; they are visionaries who brought depth and feeling to South African house music when it was most needed.
Sharing this stage with them after 11 years and so many incredible artists pushing Afro House forward makes this inaugural festival even more powerful.
On 30 November, Constitutional Hill will not just host a concert. It will witness a movement: one night where we connect past, present, and future, and prove to the world that South African music is not only alive but leading the global rhythm.
