I was rather blown away with Cara Frew’s EP, ‘Come Close To Me‘, having being first introduced to her through House Music. My first thought was she would stick to Dance Music but the 4 tracks on the EP were the complete opposite.
She’s really found a beautiful way to tell her story on this EP. I couldn’t help but think of all the romantic movies that will be accompanied by each song on the EP. I also imagined how powerful her performance with a full orchestra would be.
A feeling of sadness came over me after listening to all the songs repeatedly because the EP was really short. This could be a teaser into her sound and I really like it. The live instruments, song writing, actually overall production, I wish it was an album to enjoy. She’s made some timeless music.
