Welcome back, considering you’ll be in JHG, we thought we would like to talk to you again.
You said you’ll be at #TheLinkUp in the last interview, how did you hear about #TheLinkUp and what made you want to play there?
– Well I heard about it through a friend and colleague of mine (Yule) who suggested I talk to one of the organizers. The interest of playing there obviously sparked from last year’s #TheLinkUp I attended in Durban at Absolute. The whole atmosphere and coming together of the “twelebs” seemed pretty dope if you ask me.
So following that, how did you get in touch with them or did they hear your mixes?
– (Laughs) Honestly it all came from a DM hey. I got in touch with one of the organizers, he asked me to send him a mix and the rest was history as they say.
You mentioned you’ve been producing Hip Hop longer than House Music, will we hear any of those tracks there?
– Oh yes definitely, I’ve been playing my unreleased single with Durban’s Zulu Bass King (Breeze). So I’m super excited to see how the Joburg people respond to the song
It’s custom practice to arrive with gifts when visiting somewhere, what will you be bringing for #TheLinkUp goers?
– Wow I thought that only happened here at home (laughs). Well I always make sure each and every set I play is different & unique, so the crowd can get a once in a lifetime performance. #TheLinkUp goers can expect one hell of a LIT set man!!!
