Pioneering South African house music stables Soul Candi Live and Soulistic Music in association with Castle Lite and Channel O join forces to launch and host a new ‘super club’ concept Raise The Roof at Truth Nightclub in Midrand on Sunday the 26th of April.
Raise The Roof will endeavour to transform Truth Nightclub into a “boutique” type festival where a selection of South Africa’s leading dance ‘movements’ will be showcased on an annual basis across five different arenas. At the first Raise The Roof this April, industry powerhouses Soul Candi and Soulistic Music collaborate to bring their authentic flavour to the Main Stage whilst
House Afrika heads up the Deep House floor. Kalawa Jazmee will spearhead the Kwaito / Afro House arena, Cash Time Life will preside over all things Hip Hop and #2SidesOfTheBeat in conjunction with Avant Garde are to host Soul, Down Tempo, Jazz and Broken Beat sounds on the fifth and final floor.
Expect exceptional sound and production design as the highly qualified Raise The Roof team pulls out all the stops to bring partygoers fourteen hours of the finest local acts and artists painstakingly curated to perform under one roof.
Raise The Roof will commence with announcing headline artists for the event on Monday 16 March.
